One of my very tame squirrels sat on the trunk of a tree that succumbed to Ash Die-Back. The sculpture in the background is a Green Man.

We had a very large ragwort grow in the churchyard this summer and one female decided to lay her eggs on it. Within 10 days it had been stripped and the caterpillars were in the ground and becoming chrysalis.
